Strawberry Mojito || Cocktail Series
Since I returned from college, I make an annual pilgrimage to the strawberry fields near by to pick your own. I would carry out big tupperware containers and pick until I couldn't carry them (and maybe eating my fill in the fields themselves). This year, the weather has been so cold the fields aren't open yet (at least the ones I normally go to), however, the grocery stores still sell them and I can't pass up a good sweet strawberry.
The key to a good mojito is the energy you put in the muddling. Finally at 30 I invested in good bar tools, but if you don't have a muddler you can use the back up a spoon. You break down the mint to get the oils out (and partly, at least for me, to fit through a straw. That might not be the proper reason, but it's a good reason for me). So muddle away, get that amazing pulp and then pour in your liquor. That's a good summer cocktail.

- 3-5 mint leaves
- 3 oz selter
